Welcome! I am an atmospheric scientist interested in understanding how extreme weather and climate affect agriculture and society. My research spans a range of topics, including how crop conditions and yields have changed historically and may evolve through the 21st century, as well as how hazards such as drought, extreme precipitation, hail, and derechos influence domestic and global agriculture, land use, transportation, and other critical infrastructure. My goal is to provide data-driven insights that help the public and private sectors better anticipate risk, adapt to a changing climate, and build a more resilient future.
